Corporate events are, as their name suggests, about getting people together to do business in a setting that is outside an office or job site. However, it’s important to keep in mind that most business events aren’t parties; they are meant for discussing business or announcing something in business.

 

So when planning entertainment booking for a business event for a client for example, it won’t be the same as planning a party. There should be stripped down audio and visual components in most cases, unless the client requires something more. Alcohol should probably not be served, so no need for those vendors. Food should be served but as a buffet in most cases so that it doesn’t distract from the business at hand. Of course, this is all up to the client, who may have a different interpretation of how this business event will play out.
